FIT TOGETHER NC (Obesity Initiative)
The NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund (HWTF) has joined in a partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) to address the epidemic of youth obesity in our state. The three-year initiative is funded at $15 million and consists of the following components:
Fit Together NC
21 Youth Obesity Prevention Grants
Fit Families NC - A Study Committee for the Prevention and Treatment of Childhood Overweight/Obesity
